Tara Ray Eyer: "Cancer really doesn't want to kill me, I'm the host, if it fucks up the party who else is gonna buy the keg?" -Kris Carr. ...I have von Hippel Lindau (VHL) disease, a genetic cancer, and spend a lot of time with doctors and at hospitals. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters, who are my favorite people in the world. My Dad was my best friend and he lost his fight with VHL in 2008; I have taken my father's name as my middle name to honor the incredible influence of unconditional love, wisdom, kindness, and warmth with which he always gave. I have a MA in Clinical Counseling and I am a writer, voracious reader, mixed media artist and art journaler, and jewelry designer.
